Software as a service platform for restaurants petpooja has raised $15.4 million (Rs 137 crore), led by Dharana Capital Helion Ventures cofounder Ashish Gupta, urban Company founders Abhiraj Sigh Bhal, Varun Khaitan, and Raghav Chandra, and Urban comapny chief business officer Mukund kulashekaran also participated in the round comprising primary and secondary capital.
The Company plans to use the funding to enhance its product portfolio, and invest in AI-driven automation and customer support.
“This round will help us accelerate product innovation and contiue building solutions that help restaurants simplify the operations”, said parthiv Patel, cofounder and chief executive, in a statement.
Parthiv and Apurv Patel founded Petpooja in 2011 as as business to delivery platform where they would take bulk orders from corporates and share it with restaurants. Now the platform provides billing software to restuarants and helps them automate their operations.
It has over one lakh restaurants from India, the Middle East, US, and africa on its platform.
“As India’s food service ecosystem undergoes rapid digitisationn, Petpooja has emerged as the core technology backbone for restaurants,” said Vamsi Duvvuri, founder and managing partner, Dharana Capital.
