    Tec-Verse 2025 Showcases MeitY’s Deep-Tech Solutions for Real-World Challenges in Healthcare, Agriculture, Telecom & More

    S. Krishnan, Secretary, launched the “Tec-Verse 2025” – a two-day event on June 27–28, 2025 and delivered the keynote address with the focus of by bringing MeitY R&D organizations viz. C-DAC, C-MET, and SAMEER together to create a unified platform for showcasing and commercializing indigenous technologies. Tec-verse invites industry to engage from the early stages of research, ensuring solutions are driven by real market demands. It is not just an exhibition—it is a launchpad for next-generation Indian tech products with global relevance.

    The first day of the event witnessed the participation of – Secretary, MeitY, Shri Amitesh Kumar Sinha, Additional Secretary, MeitY,Ms.Caralyn Khongwar Deshmukh,Additional Secretary (Social Justice/ welfare ),Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director, IIT Ropar,  Shri E. Magesh, Director General, C-DAC & CMET, Shri Rajesh Singh, JS &FA MeitY, Dr. Suraj Rangarajan, MD Applied Material, Dr. P. H. Rao, DG SAMEER, Smt. Sunita Verma, Group Coordinator, R&D, MeitY and more than 1000 participants from various Ministries, major industry players, startups, young Indians and academia from research Community.

    During the 1st day, announcements were made for 4 Products Launches, 8 Transfer of Technology(ToT) and 15 MoUs by CDAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing)/CMET (Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology)/SAMEER (Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research) with Industry. Companies like BEL, TCS, SCL-Mohali, L&T Limited, Voltix Semicon Pvt. Ltd, signed MoU in the areas of Industry 4.0, India Sovereign Cloud Platform, Development of LTCC Packages, advance NexGen Technologies etc.

    During the inaugural speech, Secretary said, “We are building compute infrastructure, foundation models, and applications to address real-world societal needs. Institutions like CDAC, C-MET, and SAMEER are enabling deep-tech R&D and industry collaborations across sectors. This push is turning India from a service-led to a product-driven economy. These innovations address real-world challenges in healthcare, agriculture, telecom, and more. It’s a unique opportunity for industry, startups, ministries, and users to explore and adopt these technologies. MeitY is contributing in co-creation of research eco-system in the country aligned with ANRF.”

    Shri Amitesh Sinha, Additional Secretary, MeitY during his address mentioned that Tec-verse focusses on bringing together a wide spectrum of more than 150 cutting-edge technologies and innovations developed across domains by 3 premier R&D organizations of MeitY. This includes high performance computing, quantum technologies, internet of things, artificial intelligence, cyber security, power electronics, health & medical devices, Automotive, Industry 4.0, Robotics, UAV, 6G communications, semiconductors, atmospheric instrumentation, industrial applications, energy generation & storage, EMI/ EMC solutions to mark a transformative phase in Indian research. He invited the industry to interact with exhibitors and understand the various co-development opportunities.

    The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) plays a pivotal role in realizing the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision by fostering research and development (R&D) in electronics, IT, and emerging technologies. Through its premier R&D organizations—C-DAC, SAMEER, and C-MET, MeitY is showcasing India’s technological prowess in “Tec-Verse 2025 ”, an exclusive exhibition and technology showcase event jointly organised by the MeitY’s R&D organisations.

    Tec-Verse launched its first edition this year wherein MeitY’s 3 pioneering R&D institutions viz. C-DAC, SAMEER and C-MET, are showcasing their indigenous technological prowess that are transforming lives of citizens. The event will highlight how technology is being built to address real-world societal needs. Tec-Verse will be organised by MeitY each year to steer India from a service-led to a product-driven economy
